A new viral tweet has shown the Black Hole in Fortnite. The FNCS Global Championships 2023 is a popular event where many fans and players can participate. You could watch the battles, earn Fortnite drops, or compete and earn rewards.

However, a new tweet has been making rounds of this event, showing the infamous Black Hole. This was a significant event in Fortnite and caused the longest downtime in its history. So, find out more about the Black Hole event and how this tweet is debunked.

Did Epic Games really tease the Fortnite Black Hole event?

The Black Hole occurred during The End event on October 13, 2019. However, many players saw the Black Hole in a new Viral tweet by Becktendo during the FNCS Global Championship 2023. No, the Black Hole was not present during the FNCS event but was instead edited into the video, thus making it false. This was also confirmed by the creator Becktendo on X’s account, stating it was edited.

In the video posted by the creator, we see various images of the FNCS Global Championships and the Black Hole. The Black Hole is seen during the video loop for less than a second. However, Fortnite players can see that the video has been edited. But not before the tweet had been shared multiple times.

Instead, during the event where players can watch the game, there is a screen in which a video plays various images of the FNCS event. During the section where the Black Hole was placed, a blank screen was included where the next transition should be. This is where the creator placed the image. The X user Venitex, shows a video of this process on his X account. Thus proving the viral tweet to be false.

After The End event, the Black Hole occurred after the Frozen Meteor smashed into Zero Point. This caused a collapse and what we now know as the Black Hole. After this event, Fortnite also experienced the longest downtime in history. However, soon after this, players could begin Chapter 2, Season 1.

There have been many leaks about the upcoming Chapter 1 map returning to the Battle Royale. This, however, has not been confirmed by Epic Games. Additionally, the Black Hole also occurred during this chapter. However, the Chapter 1, Season 5 map will likely return rather than the Chapter 1, Season 10.
