Meowscles is one of the fan-favorite Fortnite characters. He was first released in Chapter 2 – Season 2 as a Battle Pass skin, and many players have fallen in love with him since. Due to this, Epic Games has released a few other variants of the character, including Purradise Meowscles.
The original variant of the character will not return to the game since it was included in the Battle Pass. However, Purradise Meowscles is a decent replacement, and players can unlock him by the end of Chapter 4 – Season 3.
The original version of the character has a Lynx tattoo, and the community just recently realized something odd about it.
Meowscles’ emote isn’t what Fortnite players thought it was
The original variant of the popular Fortnite skin comes with Swole Cat, a built-in emote. The emote can only be used with Meowscles and it shows the character flexing his muscles. Initially, many Fortnite players believed that Meowscles kissed his muscles while performing this emote, but that’s not the case.
As Reddit user JMurker315 pointed out, the character kisses the Lynx tattoo. Due to this, it’s no surprise that Epic Games made the emote exclusive to this amazing skin.
While Epic hasn’t confirmed this yet, it appears that Lynx and Meowscles were once a couple. This no longer seems to be the case, as Meowscles referred to himself as a “single cat dad” in Chapter 3.
As you can see in the video, it’s obvious that the popular humanoid cat is kissing the tattoo. However, it’s no surprise that players had a hard time spotting it before. Since Fortnite is a third-person game, the in-game camera is right behind the player, which is why it’s not possible to see all the details on the emote.
Interestingly, many Fortnite emotes have some secrets and easter eggs. However, the only way to see them is by going into the replay mode and changing the perspective.
