The Fortnite v25.11 update went live today June 27, including a new weapon and two augments. The update comes prior to the annual summer event starting July 4. The event will feature all sorts of goodies like map changes, weapons and Fortnite Crew skins.

One such skin has caught the attention of players. Reception to the skin has been mostly positive, but it does have its contrarians.

Breezabelle fires up the Fortnite community

Announced on Twitter and Reddit, a new skin named Breezabelle, based on the Isabelle skin and inspired by popular concept artist D3NNI, has been announced to be released on June 30.

The reception on Twitter is overwhelmingly positive, praising Breezabelle’s design. Reddit reactions, however, are much more subdued and even critical.

Reddit user u/Previous_Professor74 said, “Colorful skin with 3 styles. One of the better crew skins. Should sell well.”

Some Reddit users disagree with the comment above. It seems that some, although liking the skin, doesn’t seem like a fair offer for the exclusive Fortnite Crew members

Reddit user u/Alphasilverhawk stated, “The skin would’ve sold more in the long run if it was in the item shop. The skin ain’t bad, but doesn’t look or feel like a premium skin. Just looks like a typical summer skin we’d get in the shop for a summer event.”

Some players have brought up the artist D3NNI’s comments made regarding past Fortnite skins. These comments have seemed to have turned off players from the new Isabelle skin.

Other players on Reddit seem to be filled with Isabelle-fatigue, due to the amount of attention given to the skin in the past.

Reddit user u/The_Zoink said, “Another Isabelle skin who would have thought?”
