Having OG skins is the dream of every Fortnite player. Unfortunately, many of these skins are no longer available in the video game. Battle Pass skins will never return, and Epic Games most likely won’t re-release older starter packs, Crew skins, and similar cosmetic items.

Recently, Fortnite players found a trick to get an OG skin. This skin is a Rogue Agent, which was released all the way back in Chapter 1 – Season 3. It’s a male variant of Elite Agent, a popular Season 3 Battle Pass skin.

Many players acquired the skin thanks to the trick, but Epic Games ended up removing it from their lockers.

The Fortnite OG skin cost $20, but Epic Games removed it from lockers

Rogue Agent was available through the Rogue Agent Starter Pack. The pack cost $4.99 and was obtainable from March 27, 2018, to September 15, 2018. Epic Games also released the skin to the Item Shop, but it was removed due to complaints from the community.

Fortnite players figured out a trick to get the OG skin. They had to purchase The Cycle, another video game, from the Epic Games Store. After this, the Rogue Agent skin would be added to their Fortnite lockers.

While this method worked, and many players used it to get the skin, it was quickly patched by Epic Games. In addition, the video game developer removed the cosmetic item from all the accounts that obtained it through the trick and refunded everyone who purchased it.

It appears that Epic simply tested a reward system on its digital storefront. The Rogue Agent skin was never meant to be re-released, yet many players used the Fortnite trick to get the cosmetic item. Due to this, there is a possibility that Epic Games will also ban or suspend everyone who’s used this method.
