Epic Games is working on a new Fortnite perk that will make the Cybertron Cannon even more powerful. This information comes from reputable leakers, who’ve found many new Reality Augments that will be released soon.
The Cybertron Cannon was released with the Fortnite x Transformers collaboration and is one of the most popular weapons in Chapter 4 – Season 3. What makes the Mythic weapon so great is that it deals massive damage, yet it can be found almost everywhere on the map.
The upcoming perk has the potential to make the Mythic item the best weapon in the game.
Fortnite perk will reduce the time it takes to reload a shot
According to iFireMonkey, one of the most reputable Fortnite leakers, Epic Games is working on a Reality Augment that will drastically improve the Cybertron Cannon. The new perk was found in the game data but hasn’t been released to live servers yet.
The leaker claims that the perk will shorten the time it takes the Mythic weapon to recharge a shot. The time will be either shortened by 33 or 66%, although iFireMonkey is currently unsure what the exact value is going to be.
The Cybertron Cannon is a Mythic explosive weapon that can have up to two charges. It takes 30 seconds to gain a charge, and the current fire rate is 1, meaning that it takes a second to fire two shots one after another.
Considering that the weapon deals 110 damage and that its range is impressive, many players use it to eliminate their opponents. The upcoming perk will make it even better, which is why we expect the weapon to become even more popular.
At the moment, the release date of the park hasn’t been revealed. However, it could be released on Tuesday, July 4, since the Fortnite summer event will start on this date.
