This new change has Fortnite players slamming Epic Games. Epic is no stranger to controversy. However, this recent change is not something players are happy about. As the Fortnitemares 2023 event is in full swing, many players who enjoy the season want to see more decorations.
The FNCS Global Championships will only last for a few days. As a result, it is understandable why Epic Games would make changes to the Battle Bus. However, those still feeling the spooky cheer are unhappy with this decision. So, find out why Fortnite players have slammed Epic Games for making this new change.
Why did Fortnite Battle Bus change?
As the Fortnitemare 2023 event has begun, many Fortnite players are excited about the upcoming cosmetics and changes to the Island. However, due to the recent FNCS Global Championship, Epic Games has gotten rid of the Halloween Battle Bus. As a result, Fortnite players have slammed Epic Games for this change, as seen in a Reddito post by u/odiish.
Many players have thus complained about the lack of Halloween decorations this year. However, Epic at least enabled a Halloween-themed Battle Bus. Unfortunately, it has since been removed on October 12, 2023, because of the FNCS Championship.
As a result, Epic Games most likely hasn’t made any map changes due to the big competition on Friday. However, the Island may get more Halloween decorations next week. The first day of the FNCS event is on Friday, October 13, 2023, and it will conclude on Sunday. If you’re interested in the event, you can obtain four free FNCS rewards by getting Fortnite drops.
Although some players may be sad there aren’t many Halloween decorations this year, there has been plenty of new content added. In the Fortnitemares 2023 event, two new weapons have been added: new Reality Augmens and the Time Machine. In addition to these, you can also participate in the Fortnitmares and Horde Rush quests. By completing these quests, you can receive free rewards.
