There has been an OG feature that Epic Games secretly brought back to the Battle Royale. It is not a secret that Epic Games is planning to bring new content in the upcoming months. Not only will this include the new season, but it is also something veteran fans will enjoy.

However, for Fortnite players who are new to the game, this recent change will not be something they will notice. Those who have played the video game for years will recognize the sound and feel a sense of nostalgia. So, find out what OG features Epic Games has secretly brought back to Fortnite.

Epic Games secretly added the Shockwaves noise to the Fortnite features

As Epic Games has continued to update Fortnite, many items and cosmetics were removed from the game as time went on. However, According to FNChiefAko on X (formerly Twitter), Fortnite has secretly brought back an OG sound feature. In the Battle Royale, the Shockwave noise now sounds similar to the Chapter 1 version.

As many Fortnite players are aware, Epic Games will be releasing a lot of new content in the upcoming months. Additionally, the inclusion of this OG feature is another hint to the return of the Fortnite Chapter 1 map. The return of the old map has been hinted at a few times in the game data by leakers and Epic Games. However, nothing has yet been confirmed.

As a result, including this old feature is a testament to the Chapter 1 map making its return. In addition to this change, there has also been a leak about the return of old weapons, the Pump and Tactical Shotgun. The hinting of July 12, 2018, the return of the old weapons, and the inclusion of the Shockwave noise could all be preparation for the upcoming season.
