The latest Fortnite content update has introduced a new Tactical DMR, along with new Reality Augments such as Ninja Training and Shrub Mud. Fortnite is known for having various updates throughout the season; these will either bring new weapons, characters, skins, items, or challenges.

The new Fortnite content update has introduced three new items. While this is not a major update, which is expected to come later in this season, this update will still bring much-needed gameplay items! In this article, we will detail everything you need to know about the new Fortnite content update.

All new Fortnite content in the new update

Fortnite has released a new update, and we’re sure you want to know the contents. Three new items are now available in-game in the Fortnite October 3, 2023 update. These items are the Tactical DMR and two new Reality Augments, Ninja Training and Shrub Mud. You can also see the new update contents in this Tweet:

The Tactical DMR weapon will come in various rarities, from Common to Legendary. As the rarities for the Tactical DMR increase, so will its stats. However, the base stats for the Tactical DMR are the following:

• Damage: 41
• Reload Time: 2.75 seconds
• Magazine size: 14
• Fire Rate: 2.9
• Headshot Damage: 68

In addition to the new Weapon, Fortnite has introduced new Reality Augments. The two Reality Augments introduced are the following:

• Shrub Mub: When in Big Bushes, Leaf Piles, and Tall Grass, you will become covered in Mud.
• Ninja Training: You will have to increase movement speed while crouching.

The Fortnite content update on October 3, 2023, is one of the last two major updates. As a result, it is expected the last Fortnite content update will be on October 10, 2023. This update will likely bring the Fortnitemares event, bringing various new weapons, skins, and challenges. After this, you can expect the Season 5 of Fortnite to begin.
