A collection of data miners and industry leakers have begun to spoil what is presumed to be Microsoft’s announcement at the 20th Anniversary Event on Monday, that Halo Infinite’s multiplayer will launch on November 15th.

The multiplayer mode is free-to-play and is a completely separate download, allowing those who have a vested interest in first-person-shooter multiplayer games to dive straight in without downloading the whole game. Halo Infinite’s campaign is set to launch on December 8th, after it was delayed from 2020 due to quality issues that a large portion of social media pointed out.

Halo Infinite’s multiplayer has been having closed beta tests over the last few months, as well as industry outlets getting their hands-on preview copies in the last week or so. So far, we were expecting it on December 8th via Game Pass, but it appears that’s only partially true.

Data miners have scoured Microsoft’s store listings for Halo Infinite and discovered that the 15th of November is now listed as the release date. Other leakers have come outright on Twitter to state that the 15th of November is the date, while recognised members of the industry have also corroborated this news.

These store listings have now been ‘corrected’ to the 8th of December, but Microsoft and 343 have continued to remain silent on the matter.

Halo Infinite is 343 Industries’ third game in the mainline Halo series, having begun their “Forerunner Trilogy” with Halo 4 and now producing a semi-live service game with Halo Infinite. Recently it was highlighted that menus in Halo Infinite’s campaign mode feature slots for additional campaigns to be accessed, meaning that this could become Halo’s platform, rather than releasing a new game in 3-4 years.

Halo Infinite will be included with Game Pass on day one, with preloading available now.

Microsoft’s stream for the 20th Anniversary of the Xbox brand is now even more anticipated, as these same people are now stating that it’s one to keep an eye on, potentially filled with more information on Microsoft’s recent acquisitions’ projects.
