Based on the latest patch notes, there's reason to suspect we'll see Inferno very soon.

Inferno is the last map that needs to be tested in the standard and competitive map pools, essentially meaning that CS2 could be ready for release as soon as Inferno has done being tested. And thanks to new patch notes, we have determined that Inferno could be added to the CS2 limited test on Aug 13th or 14th.
Inferno is one of my favorite maps, so I can’t wait to see what Valve has done with it. Not that I have access to the Limited Test, no matter how much I write about it.
Inferno could be added to the CS2 Limited Test next week
There have been some new CS2 Limited Test patch notes released for August 7th stating that Anubis has been removed from the competitive mode, and Ancient has been added.
Anubis and Ancient were added to the CS2 limited test on August 2nd, with Anubis being placed into the competitive mode first. As you can see, it’s only 5 days that Anubis was in competitive mode. Using this, we can assume that Ancient will only live in competitive for another 5 days.
By which time, we can assume that Inferno will be added, or in the process of being added, ready to replace Anicent in the Competitive mode.
If these time periods are assumed to be true, we could see Inferno added to CS2 on Sunday the 13th of August, or Valve could push it to Monday the 14th, just because.
As we mentioned before, Inferno is the last map in the competitive map pool that needs to be tested before the game can fully release. Technically speaking, the CS2 release date could be around 10 days away. As unlikely as that actually is, it’s still exciting to think about.
We’re really looking forward to CS2 release, soon we can be done envying those who got access to the Limited Test.
