With a Minecraft game that mixes the action and strategy genres finally out in the shape of Minecraft Legends, players can’t wait to get their hands on it and lose themselves in the game for hours. However, one question that needs answering is: is Minecraft Legends coop?
Well, we’re here to clear this up, as what better way is there to enjoy a Minecraft game than with a buddy or two?
Will Minecraft Legends be coop?
As it has been with pretty much every game set in the Minecraft universe (aside from the Telltale ones for obvious reasons) Minecraft Legends will be coop. Specifically, you can play the game with up to three friends, making the maximum number of players four.
This applies not only to the main campaign story mode but also to the Lost Legends mode that players can download for free. However, one very important thing to keep in mind is that although Minecraft Legends supports online co-op, it does NOT support split-screen or online co-op.
Perhaps the best thing about Minecraft Legends being co-op is that players can seamlessly drop in or drop out at any time without there being any issues in regard to losing progress. Because of this, you don’t have to worry about starting the game again any time a friend of yours wants to join or leave an ongoing game.
Seeing as how players of Minecraft Legends are encouraged to explore to their heart’s content, all the while looking for resources, mounts, tools, and treasures across an island map that is randomized with each campaign, it makes sense to play the game with friends to maximize the amount of fun you can have when playing the game.
With the game arriving imminently, remember to swot up on exactly when the Minecraft Legends release time is, as well as what the Minecraft Legends download size is.
