It’s been a hot autumn day for The Last Of Us Television Show, with Anna Torv taking up the role of Tess thanks to HBO’s casting team and seeing The Last Of Us live-action cast for the first time. Now the dust is settling a little, let’s flick back a year and talk about The Last Of Us 2 multiplayer.

Naughty Dogs communications lassie Rochelle Snyder addressed the concerns about the hit games now standalone multiplayer addition, although she’s playing her cards close to her chest:

“In short, we’re working on it – we see the community comments as many of you clamor for multiplayer and want updates. For now, we’ll say that we love what the team is developing and want to give them time to build out their ambitious project, we’ll reveal more when it’s ready! To that end, we’ve been busy growing our team inside the kennel since The Last of Us Part II launched and are currently in full swing of hiring for MP-related positions (hint hint), so if you or somebody you know qualifies for anything you see on our jobs page, apply!”

Rochelle is of course referring to last years multiplayer Twitter update, as seen below:

She’s also telling the truth, there really is a good selection of jobs going in the Kennel right now :

The Last Of Us

Whatever is going down at Naughty Dog, it’s something big. Seeing a well-established studio have a big recruitment drive like this is a great thing. It means more resources, more staff, less crunch, and, fingers crossed, a brilliant experience for everyone to enjoy. Well, when it’s ready of course.

The Last Of Us: Part 2 is the most decorated video game of all time, grabbing an incredible 300 of the possible 576 Game Of The Year awards last year. The runner-up was Indie hit Hades, followed closely by Ghosts of Tsushima. The Last Of Us: Part Two grabbed more awards than its competition, combined. It looks like the franchise is in excellent shape and hands.
