The premise of Minecraft relies upon staying platform-neutral while constantly developing with infinite updates and fixes. Mojang Studios embodied both of these philosophies on Wednesday by delivering the 1.18.12 hotfix update to all platforms. Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is now available for purchase. The most recent public Minecraft release contains a number of fixes that are built on top of an older Minecraft build.

What is new with this update?

Minecraft: Bedrock Edition 1.18.10, a massive update that builds on top of the Caves and Cliffs Update, which was published last week with well over 100 fixes and enhancements. However, the update unintentionally brought several brand-new difficulties, which Mojang Studios is working feverishly to remedy. Many of the newly introduced issues are addressed in today’s 1.18.12 patch.

Minecraft: Bedrock Edition 1.18.12 is now available on all platforms, including Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, PC, mobile devices, and Xbox Game Pass. In case you missed it, Mojang Studios plans to phase down the Minecraft: Bedrock Edition beta program in favor of Minecraft Preview, which is already available for testing on a variety of devices.

Highlights of the Patch Notes

  • The pause menu’s “Invite to Game” button is now always enabled on Realms
