Valve has released yet another wave of CS2 invites to the public, but this time the invites seem to have a much broader scope than previous invitations. Now, if you want to meet the entry requirements of the CS2 Limited test, you need a few things. However, it’s very likely that you already meet or are close to meeting the requirements if you’re an avid CS:GO player. New CS2 limited test invites bring hundreds of thousands back to CS:GO.
Do you meet the new CS2 Limited Test requirements?
Valve released an official update stating that there are plans to include much more of the public in the CS2 Limited Test. Now you can access the Limited Test if you have a Prime membership (or purchased the game before it went free-to-play), and if you have an active competitive rank.
Not only that, but you have to live in a region where the Limited Test is available, but this is most of the world at this point, so we wouldn’t worry too much about that.

It’s not a surprise that the prospect of getting to play the CS2 Limited Test will come as an exciting proposition to a Counter-Strike fan, that may be why the daily concurrent players have increased by about 200,000 since the announcement on the 1st of September.
According to Steam DB, the peak concurrent players since the changes to the Limited Test were announced was 1,560,453. That number is just over 200,000 more than the day before the announcement.
Have you got access to the new Limited Test? There have been a plethora of changes and updates to the CS2 Limited Test in recent times. This includes the addition of the Inferno map, the last map to be remastered in the competitive pool, Premiere mode, and CS rating leaderboards.
It’s surely not long now before the release of CS2, and we’re all very excited to get our hands on it. But it seems some of you may already have access and not even know it.
