Although the RTX 4000 series might have been a bit of a flop for most gamers, Nvidia has pivoted its focus to a more booming business. As it did with crypto it has now pivoted to going after the ever-growing AI sector with its sales expected to into hundreds of millions.

As WCCFTech reports, Nvidia’s H100 AI GPUs have really been flying off the shelves. As the Financial Times finds, Saudia Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have also stepped in and put themselves in the business. Along with all the other startups in the industry already expanding their capacities with the best GPUs for the job.

Nvidia’s AI revenue

It’s no surprise that these countries have been expanding their other business opportunities to divest from their primary oil. As we’ve seen recent gaming investments in CSGO tournaments as Gamers8 invests in other businesses. All of it contributes to a different income for the countries.

But that means another big customer for Nvidia’s graphics card department. SA is expecting 3,000 H100 GPUs as shown off at Computex, while UAE purchased several of them for the Falcom LLM in its development.

If the 555,000 unit sale is accurate, there is an estimate of the revenue it would generate for the company. As the base price of H100s is $40,000 without regional differences, that would come to roughly $22.2 billion at a minimum.

That would contribute quite the sum to its ever-growing data center as the gaming sector falls. But with all this demand there is not enough supply, as TSMC has enough customers for its process as it is and at capacity. Even as the capacity is expanding it will take some time before those will come into effect in the mean time gaming GPUs might be the ones getting cut for the AI chips.
