NVIDIA Reveals Latest Batch of Game Ready on Geforce NOW Games

As sure as the tides, NVIDIA unveiled today its latest selection of Game Ready On GeForce NOW titles. The weekly Thursday update details a batch of games newly supported on NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW cloud gaming service.

Here they are:

  • Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break (new game launch on Steam)
  • Rogue Company (new game launch on Epic Games Store)
  • Tacoma (Epic Games Store)
  • FTL: Faster Than Light (Epic Games Store)
  • Steep (Epic Games Store & Uplay)
  • SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE
  • Subnautica: Below Zero (Epic Games Store)
  • Supreme Commander 2
  • The Wind Road

NVIDIA warns that it may take some time for the new titles to propagate across its network of GeForce NOW servers and be playable for every subscriber.

NVIDIA also announced that NVIDIA Highlights support for Valve’s popular free-to-play MOBA Dota 2. NVIDIA Highlights allows players to automatically capture their favorite gameplay moments thanks to what NVIDIA calls its ‘smart pattern and image recognition technology ruining in the cloud.’

The addition of Dota 2 further extends the list of NVIDIA Highlights-enabled and GeForce NOW-supported titles, which now tallies up to 23 games, including the likes of Apex Legends, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Destiny 2, Fortnite, Hitman 2, League of Legends, Rocket League, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance. You can check out the full list here.

The GPU giant has steadily expanded the list of GeForce NOW supported games. Last month alone, NVIDIA added 50 games to the cloud gaming platform, including several Square Enix titles – Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and more – marking the publisher’s return to the platform. In July, NVIDIA introduced Death Stranding and support for Ubisoft’s newly-launched battle royale Hyper Scape alongside support for a new feature called Freestyle.

“We’re rolling NVIDIA Freestyle — game filters that let you apply post-processing filters on your games while you play — to more GeForce NOW members next week. The feature changes the look and mood of your game with tweaks to color or saturation, or apply dramatic post-process filters like HDR. Freestyle is integrated at the driver level for seamless compatibility with supported games.”

NVIDIA aims to push more features soon, notably NVIDIA Ansel – a photo mode that lets user snap professional-grade, super-resolution, 360-degree, HDR, and stereo pictures while playing. NVIDIA says its also working hard to expand GeForce NOW to more platforms with its sights set on Chromebook support in the coming weeks.

It’s not all good news for GeForce NOW users, though. From July 31st, the service will no longer support the Dark Souls trilogy (Dark Souls: Remastered, Dark Souls II, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, Dark Souls III)), Tekken 7, Soulcalibur VI, and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. As NVIDIA notes, the games are leaving the service at the publishers’ request.
