Well, you can’t say Paris Hilton isn’t a savvy business woman as she launches her latest venture, Paris World, on the Roblox metaverse with an in-game DJ set on December 31st, 2021.
With games like Fortnite and Roblox bringing gamers closer to their favorite artists and celebrities with interactive performances in the so-called metaverse, more and more famous faces are expected to join the fray. Paris Hilton is the latest star to climb on the metaverse bandwagon, creating her own interactive world in Roblox, officially launching with a virtual New Year’s Eve bash.
What is Roblox’s Paris World by Paris Hilton?
According to its official Roblox page, Paris World includes many of the most popular features of other successful Roblox experiences, such as adopting animals, playing mini-games and driving luxury cars (in this case, the ridiculously-named PMWs, Perraris and Pentleys). You can even stay at the in-game version of Paris’ mansion or jet-ski to her opulent yacht. More features are due to be added in time, as well, such as exclusive accessories and other customization items, more celebrity appearances and regular special events.
All-in-all, it seems Paris World is the sort of simulation we’ve come to expect of Roblox experiences, with a similar feel to the likes of Welcome to Bloxburg and MeepCity. So if town & city sims are your sort of thing, then it might be worth checking out the new Paris World.
Paris World’s New Year’s Eve launch
This new Roblox sim officially launches on December 31st, 2021, with a lavish New Year’s Party. The now 40-year-old “original influencer” herself will be DJing, making quite the change from her usual $1 million DJ appearances irl. According to Mr Guy and Candy on Twitter, plenty of Roblox royalty are already signing up to attend the event, including the likes of Phoeberry and MeganPlays.
When can you join Paris World by Paris Hilton on Roblox?
Despite Paris World’s official launch taking place with its NYE celebrations on December 31st, 2021, you can actually fly into Paris World right now with the Christmas Beta. Step off your private jet onto the pink carpet and explore the zoo, amusement park and Paris’ own home before it all kicks off on New Year’s Eve. You can even start earning some dollars and diamonds with daily rewards, and kit yourself out ready to show off during the main event.
When does the Paris World New Year’s Eve event kick off?
As the event features a New Year’s Eve countdown, there are actually going to be two to cover both sides of the US. As such, you can catch the Paris World New Year’s Eve extravaganza from 11pm EST on December 31st, 2021, and then again at 11pm PST on December 31st, 2021. Anywhere else in the world, you will not be able to experience the countdown at midnight, but you can still join in the festivities in your time zone – for example, 4am and 7am GMT, January 1st, 2022.
