Pikmin 4 is set to release in less than a month, and not only is it the next beloved game in the series, bringing together all the new Pikmin, but it will also be introduced all-new Pikmin creatures. The gameplay trailer showed and explained how players will be able to participate in brand-new features like nighttime expeditions.

However, something even bigger was announced in the gameplay trailer, like how players will get new nighttime Pikmin that looks like a ghost. It is adorable and will be the first time we see it in the game. Players love how this game allows us to collect the adorable Pikmin creatures and have them follow us around, helping us do task to complete levels and explore new areas.

Be careful at night though, monsters can come after your Pikmin. However, with these new night Pikmin coming into play, it makes us wonder what these will do to benefit the night time gameplay.

Another exciting announcement for Pikmin fans

That isn’t all, Nintendo Switch fans who love Pikmin can get Pikmin 1 and 2 on the Nintendo Eshop today after the Nintendo Direct. These two games were only available on the Gamecube and Wii consoles, so players can be excited to finally jump back into these two games as well as Pikmin 3 before Pikmin 4 comes on out on July 21, 2023.

Pikmin 1 2 Nintendo

Both of these games will be available on the Nintendo eShop later today, which was a total surprise to us all. These will only be available in digital copies and not physical, but gamers can pre-order Pikmin 4 today and receive pre-order bonus from select retailers when purchasing the physical copy.

That’s all we have today on Pikmin, and fans can be pleasantly excited as the content for the game keeps rolling out. Watch the full Nintendo Direct on the official YouTube channel.
