Players react to new Fortnite skin Super Styles

Players seemed unimpressed with the initial skins released with the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 battle pass. They were criticized for being generic rehashes of old skins. The seemingly lackluster designs were also not helped after coming off such a stylized season.
What issues players may have had with the initial skins passed when styles for them were released. Lorenzo’s skin styles sparked player discussion, the skins seemingly teasing a connection to Enzo the Destroyer. The most recent styles dropped have players talking for a different reason, however.
New Fornite super style skins receive mixed reactions
In a Reddit post by FunnyCobra002 the user said, “Thoughts on the new Super Styles? I think that they’re very unique and creative.”
The Super Styles shown are of Trace and Lorenzo. The two Trace styles feature bright neon colors with leopard print details- one a shimmering rainbow and one a deep red. One of Lorenzo is also shown, featuring gold tiger stripes and glowing blue accents.
Reddit user Sammy-boy795 commented, “I’m sad that Era and Optimus didn’t get anything, but having seen them in game I understand why Mr. Prime was skipped. Idk why they skipped Era though. I really like them though, the moving gold tiger print looks amazing, it’s clear they put a lot of effort into them.”
It’s true that Era has not yet received a super style, but there is still a chance as the season is still ongoing. Some players are less hopeful and still seem disappointed with Epic Games’ current decision regarding the super skin styles.
Reddit user Icy-Profile-1655 stated, “Disappointing when certain skins and characters don’t receive as much attention and additional features.”
It’s unclear whether or not skins like Era may get the super style treatment, but players can still hope.
