Nintendo have released yet another special edition of their Switch Lite handheld console. Previous versions include a Pokemon Sword and Shield Edition Switch Lite with the legendary pokemon, Zacian and Zamazenta.

This latest version is timed to coincide with the release of Pokemon Brilliant Diamon & Pokemon Shining Pearl, the remakes of the original Pokemon Diamon & Pokemon Pearl, fourth-generation Pokemon games released back in 2006. Switch Lite Dialga & Palkia Design

The special edition Nintendo Switch Lite has a grey metallic color body, with black buttons. The reverse of the handheld console has artwork of Dialga (in silver) and Palkia (in gold), both are legendary Pokémon which you can capture in Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, and feature on the artwork of each respectively.

The design harks back to the previous Nintendo DS Lite Dialga & Palkia Special Edition from back in 2006, and just as Nintendo are remaking the Diamond and Pearl game, so have they remade the special edition console. This previous Nintendo DS Lite version was only available in Japan and North America, so if you wanted this back in 2006, now is your chance to get an even better version!

The Nintendo Switch Lite gets yet another Pokémon-themed console. This time, it’s to mark the upcoming November release of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, with a familiar design featuring Dialga and Palkia.

Pokemon Switch Lite Pre Order - Dialga & Palkia Edition

At the time of writing, there is no way to pre-order the Switch Lite Dialga & Palkia Edition, but you can bet your bottom dollar that between now and the official release of the console on November 5th that it will become available to pre-order on the diamondpearl.pokemon.com page, where you can currently pre-order the remakes of both games.

We also expect 3rd party retailers to stock and sell the game, so some of these may also give pre-order listings.
