The much anticipated RTX 4060 Ti has finally been revealed by Nvidia and absolutely no one was surprised. There has been a whole bunch of release date rumors surrounding this SKU, and for good reason too. The last three generations of cards saw the XX60 SKU receive a lot of praise, most notably the RTX 3060/ Ti line which is still regarded as a superb mid range GPU. We aren’t sure what the price will be on the launch day, however, an MSRP of under $400 is kind of what we were expecting, whether it will be worth it or not depends on the benchmarks coming out around May 23rd.

We are getting the 8GB 4060 Ti first, with the 16GB coming in July. Further more, there will be a third SKU coming in July too, the base RTX 4060 which will retail for an MSRP of $299! That is a pretty decent price for those looking to build systems under $800. The danger for Nvidia lies with the upcoming AMD RX 7600 GPU, which is still yet to be announced but will almost certainly offer a challenge in terms of value.

Speaking to Seb, our in-house GPU expert, he thought the price was the most obvious winning factor at this stage but is patiently waiting to see if the base performance increase is as significant as the graphs suggest. “Essentially we have an RTX 3060 killer and can easily see this becoming the most popular GPU in the series“. Seb was less happy about the fact we are getting two different sized models again, giving him “haunting memories” of the RTX 4080 debacle.

RTX 4060 Ti & RTX 4060 MSRP UK/US

The RTX 4060 Ti 8GB version will cost $399 (£389), with the 16GB model costing $499 (£479). Additionally, the RTX 4060 (non-Ti) will cost $299 (£289). It is going to be interesting to see which of these is pointless but covering multiple price points is nothing new.

In preparation for the launch we have put together a where to buy RTX 4060 Ti guide, showcasing all the likely retailers taht will go live with the GPU on launch day. This page will be updated reguarlly just incase there is a lack of stock.
