It’s been a while in the making, but at last, Samsung will launch the world’s first 240Hz 4K gaming monitor globally this month. The new Odyssey Neo G8 will not hit shelves alone, accompanied by two further gaming monitors coined the Odyssey Neo G7 and Odyssey G4.

The new 32-inch gaming monitor from Samsung will feature a 3840 x 2160 (UHD 4K) screen resolution and rapid 240Hz refresh rate – making it the first 4K 240Hz gaming panel we’ve ever seen. Alongside this, the G8 will also deliver VESA DisplayHDR 2000 certification, Quantum mini-LEDs, and a 2000 nit brightness.

Additionally, users can expect a wide 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, low 1ms GTG response time, and the textbook styling of the Odyssey range – including that impressive 1000R curved display. All-in-all, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 looks to be one of the best gaming monitors of 2022. That being said, it will list for $1,499, making it one of the most expensive as well.

When will the Samsung Neo G8 release?

The Samsung Odysseey Neo G8 is officially available now, available regionally throughout the month of June. Eager fans of the brand were able to pre order the Neo G8 while saving a cool $50 over at Samung Direct.

Unfortunately, that offer is no longer available. However, you are able to purchase the monitor now with varying arrival dates.
