As you would imagine, the 90+ inch TV market is perhaps quite niche, mostly down to the insane space these take up and the eye watering price tags. Still, the home cinema enthusiasts out there are always looking to complete the perfect setup and a huge TV like the Samsung 98″ Q80C QLED is certainly a good way to go.
While we haven’t tested the Q80C, we suspect it isn’t going to live up to the picture quality of its OLED opposition, however, the price of OLEDs at this size is astronomical. It feels silly to say it but this Samsung TV is the more affordable option to go for if you are against paying for a mini LED model or high-end projector.

Samsung currently has an early order offer to entice a few would be buyers to this wall-sized display. When you pre order the 98 inch Q80C, you save $1000, plus, get the Q800C Q Series Soundbar and TV installation for free. Now that’s quite the TV deal.
The Samsung Q80C is available in 50″, 55″, 65″, 75″, and 85″ too, however, the 98″ model offers the most alluring, if you can afford it of course. The 98 inch Q80C is well priced, however, you may want to pay more for a model with mini-LED backlighting, often brining brighter images and improved HDR. Additionally, the TV features Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound Lite, meaning you are going to be hearing 3D surround sound that follows the movement on screen. The levels of immersion from a panel this size alone is exceptional but throw in that beautiful picture quality and 3D audio and you’ve got a recipe for success.
