Timelock Studios and Croteam have released their first post-launch update for Serious Sam Siberian Mayhem. According to the dev teams, the new update fixes a number of glaring issues that plagued the game at launch. Micro-stuttering was the biggest complaint with the game and the devs have quickly implemented a fix that should revolve any FPS drops or stutters in the new Serious Sam game.
What’s new in the Serious Sam Siberian Mayhem Update?
The new 1.01 update for Serious Sam Siberian Mayhem addresses the micro-stutters some users faced. Some quest-related bugs have also been addressed with the new update. Some players were facing difficulties with the Healing Punch ability not working as intended. After the update, the ability works as intended and players should get the correct amount of healing when meleeing enemies.

Here are the most important fixes in the new update:
- Fixed a bug that was causing regular micro-stutters on some machines.
- Fixed a bug that was causing Combat Drones to fly erratically and get stuck on geometry.
- Optimized destructions (gibs) on certain enemies.
- Optimized Octanian’s rifle model.
