FaZe Clan has announced it has signed with popular American Rapper, Snoop Dog to its streaming team. The announcement comes from Twitter, with Snoop Dog’s own personal Twitter account posting a video of him streaming and promoting the esports organization. Snoop will also join the FaZe Clan board of Directors per the Hollywood Reporter.

The trailer shows off the rapper in an animated video with the dog persona streaming followed by iconic lyrics from the artist. The trailer also features a montage of the rapper playing a variety of games on stream, along with meeting the FaZe clan players and content creators.

The trailer also confirms that Snoop Dog will stream under the name FaZe Snoop, confirming he is a content crater for the organization. It is no surprise, considering that Snoop is fairly active on Twitch streaming games to his audience on Twitch.

In a report via the Hollywood Reporter, it appears that Snoop Dog will join the board of directs when FaZe Clan becomes a publicly-traded company. As part of his connection with the organization, Snoop will get involved with a community outreach programme with fans of the FaZe brand.

To some extent, this is not soo big a surprise. During the 2022 Super Bowl, Snoop Dog appeared as part of FaZe Clan’s cross-promotion with the NFL. FaZe members competed in a co-branded FaZe and NFL football game, with a donation going to Snoop’s youth football league. He also appeared wearing other FaZe related attire. Regardless, this is a very big pickup for the organization that continues to build on its gaming and esports related culture.

In other news, FaZe Clan recently triumphed over the 2022 IEM Katowice event, taking home one of the grandest trophies in CS:GO.
