Take-Two Interactive is reportedly working on over thirty games to be released in the next few years consisting of new games, ports and remasters as first reported by Nintendo Life from the recent Take-Two Financial Report.

The financial report breaks down the games into five different categories, defining them as follows:

Immersive Core: Titles that have the deepest gameplay and the most hours of content. Examples include our key sports franchises (like PGA 2K and NBA 2K) as well as Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption (to name a few.)

Independent: Externally developed Private Division releases.

Mobile: Any title released on a mobile platform.

Mid-core: Titles that are either an arcade title (like WWE Battlegrounds) or games that have many hours of gameplay, but not to the extent as an immersive core title.

New iterations of prior releases: This includes ports and remastered titles. Sequels would not fall into this category.

The pipeline table states that Take-Two is developing 24 immersive core games such as Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Kerbal Space Program 2 and WWE 2K23, ten independent games, twenty mobile games, seven mid-core games and eight new iterations of prior releases.

Now, it’s unclear what most of these games could be, although we do have several theories. Tales From The Borderlands 2 is likely one of them given it was announced earlier this month, and a remaster or sequel to the beloved classic Rockstar game Bully has been on the cards for quite a while now. It seems relatively unlikely that the announced Grand Theft Auto 6 is included in this however as the financial report concentrates on games releasing over the next financial cycle, and GTA games are historically known for spending a long time in the development stage.
