The Ascent is one of the most popular co-op ARPGs in recent years and it just received its seventh major content update. To celebrate the Chinese New Year, the game is offering a free Chongqing Pack which comes with a host of cosmetics that players can obtain throughout the event. The update also addresses a number of bugs in co-op mode to improve player experience.
What’s new in The Ascent Update #7?
The Ascent received a new update where players can unlock the new Chongqing pack. Go to any Armor vendor to unlock the Interhabber Shades (13,300 ucreds), the Distant Goggles (16,500 ucreds), and the Moon Jacket (22,000 ucreds). You then need to go to any Grafter to apply the Tiger or Tiger White shirt skin. You can head to any Gun Smith or any Grafter to apply the Tiger or Tiger White weapon skins.
The Ascent Update #7 Patch Notes
Here are some of the highlights of the new update:
- Turrets now show the correct level when encountering them.
- Fixed an issue where enemies may not all spawn correctly during ‘Data Miner’ (Mission 5).
- Fixed an issue during ‘Liberation Operation’ (Side Mission 19). In certain instances, the Forman and his guards could despawn during the mission
- Fixed some minor audio issues in the Journal.
