We expect the price of the 13900K to fall very soon for Black Friday
When using a price comparison site like Camelcamelcamel, we can easily see historic price trends that help us predict what something might do in the future. Although not 100% accurate, it does help paint a picture and potentially brace us for an imminent sweet deal.
As you can see, it was around mid-November last year that the price of the 13900K dropped. We hope to see something similar this year, although we’re already well into mid-November and the CPU is still ridiculously expensive. That is why we hope to see the price drop for the 13900K very soon. It’s also possible that the price will simply not come down at all for Black Friday, and skip until the December sales.
An interesting concept, it could very well be the case since the CPU intended to replace the 13900K, the 14900K, was received so badly. So Intel might be trying to keep the better-selling CPU at a higher price for longer. Either way, we want to see the 13900K come down to around the $400 mark, if possible.
If this does occur, it will be a new all-time low price for the CPU, according to Camelcamelcamel. Something that we should be seeing from a lot of CPU manufacturers this time of year. But it seems AMD has a bit of a trend for lowering prices further around Christmas.
