Vampire Survivors is one of the indie gems that has taken gaming by storm and it has already received tons of new content before its official release. The game is still in an early access state and it is already shaping up to be one of the best indie games of this generation. The new 0.5.2 update just dropped with new Arcana power-ups, items, and a new playable secret character who goes by the name Concetta Caciotta.
Three New Weapon Evolutions Have Been Added to Diversity Your Arsenal
Weapon evolutions take place when you level up weapons and meet certain conditions. The game just added three more weapon evolutions that players can unlock in their runs. The roguelike game also added a new rank for the Banish stat and a new relic that players can use. The update also removed all copyrighted music and has replaced them with free-use tracks to make the game streamer friendly.
Suspicious Patch Notes Talk of “A Coffin in Gallo Tower”
Hidden among the patch notes is the mention of Gallo Tower. The patch notes of Vampire Survivors are known to be ambiguous to help players discover all of the new content for themselves instead of finding out all of the game’s secrets directly. The coffin actually houses the game’s newest character Concetta Caciotta who is a guitarist. She is one of the most interesting characters the game has released in recent times and fans will have a blast trying her kit out.
New Arcanas are Available in the New Update
Starting from update 0.5.2, you get to choose any unlocked Arcana at the start of a new run. After that, if you have unlocked more Arcanas than just the default one, then there is a chance you can get a random draft from Treasure Chests. Most Treasure Chests containing Arcanas are carried by bosses spawning at minutes 11:00 and 21:00. You can carry a maximum of three Arcanas at the same time which will make things interesting for players who plan out builds in advance. To unlock Arcanas, players need to find the Randomazzo at the top of Stage 4. The new update is just one of many content updates that have been planned leading up to the game’s full release.
