Raven Software recently launched the new Fort Resurgence map in Warzone, thus joining Ashika Island and Vondel as small resurgence maps. While this should have been seen as a huge benefit to gamers, many players had issues with the design.

While this should have been seen as a huge benefit to gamers, many players had issues with the design. JGOD, a normally positive Call of Duty YouTuber analyzer, could only say it was “playable” and questioned the decision to make the map halfway filled with water.

He wasn’t alone because even Swagg came in swinging at the design. Before you dive in, make sure to check out the release date for Modern Warfare 3.

Warzone’s Fort Resurgence is not well received

Swagg immediately went against Activision, tweeting “surely that’s not the new map right?” after releasing a video with his reaction to the map. Many have said the map was just lazy and the “worst resurgence map in COD history” (via Dexerto).

Here is a tweet with the video if you’d like to see more, be warned it’s very long.

What really sends a huge message to Activision is Swagg using Tyler1’s own clip of badmouthing a company. Swagg tweeted the message along with this video “My reaction to the ‘new’ map.”

To quote Tyler 1 “How did it even make it to live servers? How did they think it was okay to even put it in the game? I’m so sick of these f***ing companies. They’re trash! Fix the game! It sucks playing this s**t!”

So that clip is pretty harsh for someone like Swagg because it’s not even trying to hedge, it’s all negative.

We think it’s fair to say that the new map hasn’t exactly been well received. Rather than trying to adapt it into its own full-scale resurgence map, players are extremely frustrated that it’s just a zoomed-in portion of the regular Al Mazrah map. However, what do you think? Make sure to make your viewpoints known!
