The new WoW Hotfixes are out for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Burning Crusade Classic and WoW Classic. A new set of hotfixes has just been rolled out on August 24, 2023. This batch of fixes focuses on refining your gameplay experience, addressing various issues across different aspects of the game.

From dungeons and raids to events and player versus player encounters, these fixes will fix the balance, take care of bugs, and gave events the attention they really needed. These notes come just two days after the previous hotfix, and three days after the one before that. It seems like a lot is going into fixing recent issues in World of Warcraft. Below are all the patch notes.

Dungeons and Raids

  • Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible
    • Echo of Neltharion
      • Fixed an issue where Volcanic Heart can target players with Corruption.

  • Kalimdor Cup
    • The Kalimdor Cup is now open to all players level 30 and above. NPCs have been added to Orgrimmar and Stormwind to start the quest and spend your winnings.
  • Time Rifts
    • Fixed an issue where The Lich King’s Remorseless Winter was targeting melee players too often.

Player versus Player

  • Fixed an issue that caused Precognition to trigger from interrupts reduced by a Paladin’s Concentration Aura.
  • Warlock
    • Demonology
      • Fixed an issue causing our recent changes to Demonbolt’s damage in PvP combat to be applied incorrectly.

Some of the hotfixes above take effect the moment they were implemented, while others may require scheduled realm restarts to go into effect. Please keep in mind that some issues cannot be addressed without a client-side patch update. This list will be updated as additional hotfixes are applied.
