As is natural in this day and age, another showcase means another leak. This time however, the leak is coming from inside as a Microsoft Employee seems to have allegedly leaked some of the games that will be showing up later tonight at the Microsoft Bethesda Showcase.

Microsoft Bethesda Springs A Leak

As noticed on Twitter by Tom Warren, a post on LinkedIn seems to have revealed some of the games in the Xbox showcase:

Viewers can expect appearances from anticipated Xbox-exclusive flagships like Starfield, Forza Motorsport, Redfall and Avowed. Xbox has a growing number of in-house studios, and with Bethesda’s teams now onboard, more franchises than ever will take to the virtual stage.”

This goes directly against what known insider Tom Henderson stated yesterday, as he seemed to believe that Avowed would explicitly not be making an appearance on the Microsoft Bethesda shared stage. It remains to be seen how exactly these games will be showing up and whether we’ll see extended gameplay demos or simple CGI trailers, though it’s likely we get an extended gameplay demo for Starfield at the very least given how it releases next year.

Hopefully there’s no teething issues during the conference though. Yesterday many users noticed that Xbox Live was down, causing them to be completely unable to download new games and causing many to be unable to even load their already existing games. The Xbox Bethesda showcase is perhaps the most anticipated conference for many gamers, so we can only hope that Xbox keeps everything working and afloat for their biggest show of the year. We at WePC will be covering the conference live as it happens, so keep an eye out for the biggest and the best of the show.
