A Plague Tale: Requiem Shown At Tribeca Games Spotlight

Today, the Tribeca Games Spotlight treated us to a lengthy deep-dive into the process and driving force behind the development of Asobo Studio’s upcoming rat-infested stealthy action-adventure, A Plague Tale: Requiem.

Brush up on your French and take a peek below at the latest look at A Plague Tale: Requiem.

While the new video should provide everything you need to know about A Plague Tale: Requiem – sequel to 2019’s critically-acclaimed A Plague Tale: Innocence – here’s the official taster texts courtesy of Asobo Studios:

“Embark on a heartrending journey into a brutal, breathtaking world twisted by supernatural forces.

After escaping their devastated homeland, Amicia and Hugo travel far south, to new regions and vibrant cities. There, they attempt to start a new life and control Hugo’s curse.

But, when Hugo’s powers reawaken, death and destruction return in a flood of devouring rats. Forced to flee once more, the siblings place their hopes in a prophesized island that may hold the key to saving Hugo.

Discover the cost of saving those you love in a desperate struggle for survival. Strike from the shadows or unleash hell, overcoming foes and challenges with a variety of weapons, tools and unearthly powers.”

Rats, Rats, and Even More Rats

Though serving up a delicious slice of stealthy action and a gripping narrative of sibling-hood, A Plague Tale: Innocence stood out depicting heaving waves of scuttling rats. The player could bend these to their will to advance through its gloomy, plague-ridden levels, to best puzzles, and chew through blood cocktail-sipping fanatic clerics. From today’s new dive, it looks like Asobo is doubling down on the rodents with A Plague Tale: Requiem and we couldn’t be happier.

Publisher Focus Interactive has A Plague Tale: Requiem set for release this year on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
