The latest Apex Legends patch update comes to us, although not a tremendous change to the game, it aims to fix a few known problems here and there.

Much to the dismay of many, these fixes aren’t exactly all that big or even relevant, in fact there still seems to be no fixes made to the infamous server issues Apex Legends constantly has.

Not to mention, Wattson is yet to see any change or buffs, despite public demand.

General fixes

An issue that caused players to be randomly unreadied while matchmaking in Ranked has been fixed. As well as a couple of issues that were causing animated banner poses to cause hangs or crashes.

There’s been some improved protection against DDoS attacks. Audio and rendering issues with respawn ships has been fixed, meaning you’ll hear the proper sound cues. Players noticed an issue with using Crypto’s drone in the Map Room, but that’s been amended.

Fixed an issue with Pathfinder having a constant 30s grapple cooldown regardless of distance in Arenas. In addition to Pathfinder, his Beacons Scanned tracker now updates correctly.

Fixed melee and spin-up exploits related to mobile Sheila, which is a much welcome change. As many Rampart players noticed they could exploit a lot of Sheila’s uses, including faster melee attacks.

The raven in Bloodhound’s Niflheim Hundr skin will now correctly show as white in the lobby, as for some players it appeared as the regular black.

Those are the main fixes to the overall game, but we’re still yet to hear about any server fixes. Fingers crossed we’ll see Respawn actually work on fixing their terrible server issues.

This all comes ahead of the next Season, where we’ll be seeing Ash be added to the Legends roster. And, no doubt, we’ll also be seeing some more patches, nerfs and buffs made to various different characters.
