Respawn Entertainment unveiled the event earlier in October and has since shown off some new additions coming to the game such as a limited-time survival item called copycat kits that give you access to an extra legend ability for the rest of the match. Some of these can even be ultimates.

Apex Legends Doppelgangers Collection Event – When does it start?
The Apex Legends Doppelgangers Collection Event runs from October 17, 2023, to October 31, 2023 – ending on Halloween. You have until after next week to try out the terror. There is currently no official start time but many believe that the update will go live at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST. This is because this is when updates for Apex Legends typically go live.

What is the Doppelgangers Collection Event in Apex Legends?
The Doppelgangers Collect event in Apex Legends is a limited-time event (LTM) that is bringing in new dark maps of Kings Canyon, World’s Edge, and Olympus After Dark.
This event adds a new holiday mode called Trick N’ Treat Trios. During this event, you will pick-up candy to satisfy your sweet tooth. This extra treat gets you EVO Points, Ultimate Charge, and 25 points of shield healing over time.
Copycat Kits are now live until the end of the event. These kits allow you to use a different legend’s ability for the rest of the match – a great way to shake things up. Cooldowns apply to these so make sure that you pay attention. The information for the event can be found on EA’s website.
Apex Legends Doppelgangers Collection Event – Collection Event Items and additions
The new Halloween-themed event is about to drop and it comes with some extra bonus goodies if you manage to collect them. There are 24 spooky limited-time cosmetics being added with some being new legendary skins for characters like Newcastle and Vantage. Collecting all 24 cosmetic items will get you Revenant’s Prestige Skin – Apex Nightmare. This is a new prestige skin that continue’s Revenant’s transformation from Season 18.
You can unlock Doppelgangers items with Apex Coins or with Crafting Metals. You can also purchase 24 of the Doppelganger Event Apex Packs. Each of these has one guaranteed cosmetic item. Once you have the Apex Nightmare skin, you can get kills with it to rack up points, complete challenges, and unlock additional tiers. All of these challenges stack with your Battle Pass.
In the store, you will have different packs that you can purchase in the store tab such as the following:

- Advanced Tracking Bundle
- Frozen Magma Bundle
- Muerte Rapida Bundle
- Out for Blood Bundle
