Are you looking to be evil in Baldur’s Gate 3? Each playthrough of the game can be unique. Throughout each playthrough, you can make different choices, choose different companions, and select different rewards.

Larian Studios has added many mechanics to this Dungeons & Dragons RPG that help it stand out. There is a myriad of choices that you can make throughout the game and it starts with creating your character. You can select from many races and classes. You can even choose your background.

If you choose you can even go with an origin character like Astarion, Lae’zel, or Shadowheart. If you want, can even attempt to multiclass. One of the big questions fans have is about morality in the game. Can you be evil in Baldur’s Gate 3?

Baldur’s Gate 3 – Can you be evil?

Baldur’s Gate 3 is meant to give the player the ability to choose their own destiny. This means that you can be pretty darn evil if you so choose. Multiple videos have shown the extent to which you can be an agent of chaos.

This vast RPG allows you to truly get into the D&D spirit by choosing evil acts. Much like in Divinity Original Sin, you can almost go entirely Murderhobo on cities and towns in Baldur’s Gate 3.

If that wasn’t enough, there are rude and dark dialogue options that your companions will react to. There is also the Dark Urges Origin. This origin has your character lose their memories. Part of your story then revolves around trying to figure out why you have the urge to do horrible acts.

Of course, since the game has been in early access, there is only so much that you can do. During the full release of the game in August, there will be more options that become available. Choose your alignment and whether you want to play as the good character or perhaps take that step toward being an evil cleric.
