Do you need to know how to enable Quick Switch for CS2? This feature lets you quickly switch between weapons during gameplay, and is especially helpful when you’re in a tight spot.

Many features from Global Offense have made the jump to Counter-Strike 2 from the Valve Corporation, and Quick Switch is one of them. However, if you don’t where to find it, it can be tough to learn how to do it. How do you enable Quick Switch for CS2? We’re here to give you all the details.

CS2 – How to enable Quick Switch

In order to enable Quick Switch in CS2, you first need to open the Console Window. This can be done by pressing the ~ key on the top left of your keyboard. From there, you’ll need to set up the console command. Here is what you need to enter:

  • alias +switchw “slot3”
  • alias -switchw “lastinv”
  • bind “Q” +switchw

By setting this up, it allows you to bind Quick Switch to the Q Key, so you can switch between your last weapon and your knife faster. Quick Switch is best for players who use scoped weapons, like AWP, snipers, and Deagles. In terms of recoil, there is no benefit to Quick Switch, but at least you’ll be faster when scouting.

This is the best way to set up Quick Switch, which has been featured in previous CS games like CS:GO. Without setting this up, you’ll need to double-tap on the Q Key in order to switch weapons. However, this is nowhere near as quick. With Quickswitch bind, it’s a simple press of a key.

However, it should be noted that some players have had trouble setting up the binded key like this. If it doesn’t work with the instructions above, you’ll need to go back to double-tapping. While this probably isn’t your personal preference, unfortunately, there isn’t another option.

There are tons of other commands you can use when you enable Developer Console, from seeing your live FPS, check your CPU usage, and plenty more.
