Dave the Diver is a rather large adventure RPG crafted by MintRocket where you can dive into the depths of the mysterious Blue Hole. Throughout the game, you will learn about the mysteries of the ocean, catch fish, collect resources, and complete many dives.

When you aren’t busy in the ocean, you will be helping out at the Bancho sushi restaurant, using ingredients to make and serve meals to hungry customers. Do good and the restaurant will get good reviews on the Cooksta app.

This massive marine adventure will take you a while to complete. There is a full list of chapters to get through including side quests that will have you pouring beer and defeating bosses like the giant squid. Exactly how long does it take to beat Dave the Diver?

Dave the Diver full game length

Dave the Diver will take you around 11 to 12 hours to beat according to users on Steam. The game has four chapters if you count the prologue. If you are a completionist and aim to get all the upgrades as well as complete all of the side quests, you can expect the game to last around 16 to 18 hours.

The main story of Dave the Diver is broken up into only a few chapters but they are very long and will take you some time to complete. For an indie game, there is plenty to do in the game from collecting weapons to upgrading the bar.

There is plenty of exploration and side content as well that can easily make the game last much longer than the time stated above. Things like hunting down the microphone and defeating the bosses could eat up a lot of time for you.

As you progress through the game, make sure to spend plenty of time gathering extra money so you can easily upgrade your gear and hire some extra employees to run the restaurant.
