Dave the Diver has recently been making waves, no pun intended, in the gaming world with its casual RPG style that lets you explore the ocean and run a sushi restaurant. Quite the combo.

There’s plenty to do in Dave the Diver, from taking pictures to catching all sorts of fish like Seahorses. Catching fish helps out your restaurant, too, so it’s a big part of the game.

Some fish will require some more tenacity to catch, including net traps, so if you need help getting a net trap in Dave the Diver, we’re here to help.

Dave the Diver – How to obtain a net trap

Getting a net trap in Dave the Diver can be done by going shopping and purchasing the net trap. You can purchase a Steel Net Sensor Trap from Cobra’s Shop.

It’s important to note that Cobra’s Shop is not always going to have the Steel Net Sensor Trap in stock – you may have to come back for a few days until it’s available in the random stock.

The Steel Net Sensor Trap will cost 85 coins and has the ability to catch two fish at once. All you need to do in order to use it is:

  • Position the net trap in the way of the fish
  • Wait for the fish to swim into it

Net traps are particularly useful for Tuna, which are very elusive, and catching them with the harpoon, your main weapon in the game is incredibly difficult. The Steel Net Sensor Trap makes it easy to get these big fish, and you’ll get two at once. You can find these huge fish after learning about the Tuna event, and then you can find a whole school of Tuna to use your new net trap on.

Dave the Diver features plenty of exploration and restaurant simulation in this delightful title on Steam, where you spend your days in your diving gear exploring and adding fish to your inventory, then spend your nights as a sushi restaurant manager, making use of your catches.
