For any party, such as a Tuna Party, one must know how to catch Tuna in Dave the Diver. Of course, what is a Tuna event without the star of the show Tuna making its way to the plates and stomachs of the Sushi Restaurant’s eccentric cast of characters?

Throughout the game, there will be a constant changing of side missions for your enjoyment, though most include catching fish! So, follow this guide on how to catch Tuna in Dave the Diver.

What is the best way to catch Tuna in Dave the Diver?

While you won’t have to battle Tuna in a boss fight, these hard-finned beauties are a hard catch! There are several ways to catch Tuna in Dave the Diver. You can use a Steel Net Sensor Trap or a Mini-Sub to catch Tuna. You can also use a Harpoon with patience and a good shot.

To get a Steel Net Sensor Trap, go to Cobra’s Shop to purchase the weapon. The Steel Net Sensor Trap can catch bigger fish, and the net will automatically release once it senses any movement. This weapon can catch two larger fish simultaneously, and you can buy it for the hefty price of 85 Gold. Cobra will have various items daily, so check in the next day.

Along with the Mini-Sub, you will also obtain an Automatic Net Bomb. When diving into the Blue Hole or the depths, you will typically find a whole school of Tuna swimming in a pattern. Once you’ve gotten their behavior down, fire the Net Bomb. After all your Tuna are safely in the net, the drone will swoop in and collect your catch.

Of course, you can also rely on your trusty Harpoon to catch the big fish. However, be advised that you will need an additional weapon, such as a Hush Dart or Red Sniper Rifle. The Dart will put the Tuna to sleep, giving you time to capture it.
