Getting to the max level of 100 will be a lot of work in Blizzard’s latest entry in the Diablo franchise, Diablo IV. Completing the main campaign itself only gets you to level 50, and the endgame has so many activities it can be hard to figure out where to start when looking for XP. If you need help farming XP in Diablo IV, we’re here to help.

Diablo 4 – How to farm XP

Farming XP in Diablo IV can be done in plenty of ways, including completing quests, replaying dungeons, and participating in world events. All of these ways to grind are great for not only XP but bonus loot and gear for your adventurer.

Completing the main storyline quests is a great way to get to level 50, of course, but there are plenty of side quests to do as well, and they will grant XP, too. Try not to go too far off the beaten path looking for them, as they can be more time-consuming than they’re worth, but feel free to pick them up along the way and quickly finish them while journeying across Sanctuary.

Dungeons are great not only during your first 50 levels, but after entering the endgame you’ll unlock two types of repeatable dungeons for even more XP:

These dungeons are able to be reset and replayed endless times, just like normal dungeons are, and you’ll get tons of XP upon their completion. Plus, you’ll be able to do them faster as you learn them more. Take note that these will only be available on World Tier 3 or higher, which is Nightmare difficulty, so they will be tough.

World events occur across all five regions on Sanctuary, including Fractured Peaks, Scosglen, Dry Steppes, Kehjistan, and Hawezar, and participating in them gets you plenty of XP. They’re quick to complete and reward you well.

A great tip for even more experience points is to play with friends! Join a party for additional XP bonuses with friends or strangers for any activities you’re playing. Being in the party itself will grant an XP boost while doing anything like taking down a boss or elites, or going through strongholds and new areas will all grant bonus XP.

There’s no hack or trick that will get you XP insanely fast, as most XP comes from just grinding the game. But, with these tips, you will be able to reach level 100 as efficiently as possible for those legendary items, armor, and weapons.
