Capcom’s latest game will have you squaring off against various types of dinosaurs in PvE and PvP missions. With help from exosuit technology, you and your friends will form a squad and face off against your opponents. Both squads have a common enemy – the dinos that roam the streets.
Exofighters beware as history’s most ferocious beasts will not go down easily. Take part in co-op missions with friends as well as story-related missions against foes. There are multiple variant exosuits to choose from, each requiring a different level of player skill.
Exoprimal is coming to many different platforms and is said to have cross-platform matchmaking. What type of exosuit are you going to use to help your squad? Here is how you can invite friends in Exoprimal.
How to play online with friends in Exoprimal
Capcom released two beta tests in March and June. During these tests, to invite friends, you needed to use your console’s friends list. There are two ways to invite friends; through your console friends list and through your Capcom account page.
To invite friends, go to your console’s menu. Depending on whether you are on PlayStation, Xbox Series X/S, or PC, you will either need to press the PlayStation button, Xbox Button, or bring up the Steam Menu using the Control and Tab keys.
Once you are at the console menu or Steam menu, select your friends list and invite your friends to your game.
How to play crossplay in Exoprimal
Exoprimal crossplay is accessed via your Capcom account page. Once you have linked your account to whatever platform you are using to play the game, you will be able to invite your friends for cross-platform play.
During the Exoprimal open beta test, there was difficulty connecting via crossplay. When the full game launches in July, there will be more information about how to connect with friends via your Capcom account. Make sure that you have a stable internet connection to properly play online with your friends.
