Exoprimal is Capcom’s latest game and it is looking pretty amazing. This dino survival game will have you completing missions again various dinosaur swarms. Grab one of the different exosuits and get ready to fight.

Throughout Exoprimal, you will use humanity’s cutting-edge exosuit technology to fight back against swarms of dinos. With the Leviathan’s guidance, you will fight your common enemy in glorious combat.

What consoles is Exoprimal coming to? Xbox Series X? PlayStation? It is pretty well-known that Exoprimal will be on PC, but does that mean it will also be on Steam Deck? Valve’s handheld PC device is pretty powerful but can it handle Exoprimal as well? Is Exoprimal Steam Deck Compatible?

Can you play Exoprimal on Steam Deck?

If you check the Steam Store, you will see that Exoprimal is playable on Steam Deck. There is a verification on the store page for the game. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean that the game has full Steam Deck compatibility.

Since the game is playable, that means it has the following:

• All functionality is accessible when using the default controller configuration
• This game’s default graphics configuration performs well on Steam Deck
• The game sometimes shows non-Steam Deck controller icons
• Some in-game text is small and difficult to read

If the game had full Steam Deck compatibility, the text would be larger and the control scheme would show the correct button inputs. While these are obstacles, you can still play the game on Steam Deck without issue according to Steam.

Capcom can always make the game fully Steam Deck compatible in the future, but for now, you can play the game without issue.
