On the 12th of September EA released who would be the best 23 players in FIFA 23. The day before that, the ratings of the game’s ambassadors were released and now we have received even more player ratings.
This latest player reveal was regarding who the top 25 Premier League players would be. Obviously we already had a rough idea of who would be up there after the reveal of the best players in the game.
The quality of the Premier League means there was always going to be some overlap, with players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Virgil Van Dijk being two of the highest rated players in the game.

Once again, Kevin De Bruyne will be the highest rated player in the Premier League, however now he does not share that mantle. After Cristiano Ronaldo’s ratings reduction, De Bruyne is clear of everyone else in the league.
The next best players are Ronaldo, Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah. The two Liverpool stars have received a boost of +1 in order to get into the 90s.

One really interesting thing to take from the ratings reveal is Joao Cancelo leapfrogging both Robertson and Alexander-Arnold to be the highest rated full-back in the league. It’s also incredibly likely that he is also the highest rated full-back in the whole game.
Are Manchester City the best team in FIFA 23?
Manchester City feature the most players on the list, with new addition Erling Haaland appearing high up. We know the City forward is set for a Ones to Watch already and there is no doubt he will be one of the most sought after Premier League players in FIFA 23s Ultimate Team game mode.
The majority of players in Ultimate Team will be aiming to get as many City players as possible, due to how good their squad is, while they will also be a very popular team in Seasons and Kick-off.
