Final Fantasy 16- How do you get Darksteel?
Darksteel in Final Fantasy 16 can only be acquired by defeating Prince of Death and Thanatos. Both of them are powerful bosses who will not go down without a tough fight. But once you eliminate them, you will get rewarded with Darksteel.
It is important to remember that both bosses are a part of Notorious Marks. For those who don’t know, these are powerful monsters found at different spots on the map, and defeating them can help you acquire unique rewards. In the case of these two, you will get Darksteel.
The Prince of Death, who goes by the name “The Grim Reaper,” can be found in Cape Orsiere, Sanbrque, which is southwest of the Royal Meadows. To unlock him, you will need to progress through the “Brotherhood” story quest. On the other hand, Thanatos can be found in Titan’s Wake, which is southeast of Dhalmekia. This boss is unlocked during the “Back to their Origin” story quest. You can use the Fast Travel feature while searching for them to make things easier.
The Prince of Death can fire projectiles toward you during combat, which can deplete plenty of your health. Furthermore, he will start using a combo attack after you bring his health down by 50%.
