In RPG games such as the Square Enix Final Fantasy 16 game, you will encounter boss fights where you can perform Cinematic Dodges and Strikes. So, fans may be eager to dash in with the protagonist Clive and fight every enemy or boss they see. These Cinematic Dodges and Strikes make for great gameplay and takedown. This guide will detail how to perform Cinematic Dodges and Strikes in Final Fantasy 16.

How do you perform Cinematic Dodges in Final Fantasy 16?

It often happens in boss fights when you may encounter a devastating attack and must perform a quick evasion. Thankfully, you can dodge and look fabulous while doing it! Press the R1 Button on your PlayStation controller to perform a Cinematic Evasion.

This will be one of the quick-time events in which your screen will flash Red indicating a pivotal moment in the battle and a chance to evade an incoming attack from your foes.

How do you perform Cinematic Strikes in Final Fantasy 16?

An additional quick-time event will be the Cinematic Strike. This will happen when your screen flashes Blue. You must press the Square Button to perform a Cinematic Strike. You will then deliver a devastating blow mid-air during this time, but ensure you do so before your time runs out.

The opportunity to perform the Cinematic Dodges and Strikes will occur once you have Staggered your opponent. After this, your enemy will get ready to perform a powerful attack, in which you will be able to dodge or strike.

However, once your enemy has the Staggered Status, they will regain much of their health status. To increase your chances of performing these Cinematic events, you can switch to Story-focused mode to access the Timely Accessories, which will give you extra buffs in the game.
