Summons have always been integral to any Final Fantasy game, as they are reoccurring figures throughout the popular franchise. However, many fans wonder if there are summons in the latest franchise installment, Final Fantasy 16. To answer your question, yes, there are summons in Final Fantasy 16.
In Final Fantasy 16, an elite few humans are called Dominants. These Dominants, be men or women, are born blessed with the ability to call upon the Eikons. Eikons are the most powerful and deadly creatures in the world of Valisthea and are often born to those of royalty. However, those who have the power of the Eikons are often taken in by a Kingdom and will work under their ruler.
Below is a list of Dominants and their summoned Eikons confirmed:

During the Final Fantasy 16 trailer, we can see more gameplay of the Eikons, and players can participate in Eikon battles. There won’t be much change from the other Final Fantasy series summons, as the Eikons will still have their respective elements, such as Ice, Fire, and Lightning.
