FNCS Renegade is a new Fortnite skin that can be obtained for free. The cosmetic item was added to the game data with the v25.20 update. However, Epic Games hasn’t released it to live servers yet. Fortunately, you won’t have to wait for too long for it to come out.

When will FNCS Renegade skin be released to Fortnite?
FNCS Renegade will arrive to Fortnite on August 14. Epic Games will hold an FNCS Community Cup on this date, allowing players to compete to win free cosmetic items. The new skin is one of these free items, along with its back bling and potentially a few more items.
It’s important to note that you will have to be Bronze I in Fortnite’s ranked mode to compete in the upcoming tournament. Fortunately, reaching this rank is not difficult, and you can do so by simply playing one game in the competitive mode.
Recently, Epic Games released the Galaxy Crossfade skin for free. The skin was obtainable through a tournament, so if you participated in it, you already know how it works. Top players from each region will receive the new FNCS skin, but you will need to check the Compete tab to see when the tournament starts in your region.
The FNCS Community Cup will be open to all Bronze I or higher players, which is why we expect hundreds of thousands of players to participate. Due to this, unlocking FNCS Renegade will be quite difficult.
However, if you don’t get the Fortnite skin for free, you will be able to purchase it from the Item Shop. The skin is Common (Green), meaning it’ll cost 800 V-Bucks. However, its Item Shop release date hasn’t been revealed yet.
