How to unlock the Galaxy Crossfade Fortnite skin for free

Epic Games is once again collaborating with Samsung to bring Galaxy-themed cosmetic items to Fortnite Battle Royale. Many of these items, including the first-ever Galaxy skin, have become quite special and rare.
Galaxy Crossfade is the newest Galaxy-themed skin, and the best thing is that it can be unlocked for free. This article will explain everything you need to know about the new skin and how you can add it to your locker.

Galaxy Crossfade skin will be available for free in Fortnite
Epic Games is releasing Fortnite’s Galaxy Cup 4 on July 29 and 30. The first cup will be exclusive to the owners of Android devices, while everyone will be able to participate in it on July 30. Each day, players will be able to unlock several cosmetic items, including the Galaxy Crossfade skin.
Here are all the items that can be obtained from the cup:
- Galaxy Crossfade skin
- Crossfade’s Equalizer Back Bling (reactive)
- Spinback Slicer Pickaxe
- BPM Breakdown Emote
- Crossfade’s Galaxy Wrap
To unlock these items, you simply need to compete in the upcoming Zero Build tournament. Top-ranking players from each region will receive the items, so make sure to check out the Compete tab to see when the tournament starts in your region.
Anyone who scored at least 8 points will receive the House Cat spray. In addition, the Galaxy Crossfade skin will receive two more styles in the future, and they will be given to all eligible players. You can read more information and check the tournament scoring on Epic Games’ official website.
Finally, if you don’t get lucky and unlock the skin for free, it will be released to the Item Shop at a later date. While its release date hasn’t been revealed yet, it will likely come out sometime in August.
