Kit’s Shockwave Launcher is one of the best Fortnite items of all time. Moving quickly across the map is essential in the battle royale game, which is why the item is so valuable. Many players fell in love with it the first time it came out, and it’s no surprise that Epic Games brought it back for Fortnite Chapter 4 – Season 4.
Besides the launcher, Epic has unvaulted many other fantastic Mythic weapons. Midas’ Drum Gun is back, along with TNTina’s Ka-Boom Bow. Kit’s Charge Shotgun has also returned, along with a few more powerful weapons.

How to obtain Kit’s Shockwave Launcher
Kado Thorne is a primary antagonist of the new Fortnite season. Not only is he a vampire, but he also seems to be interested in collecting trophies from his enemies. Due to this, it’s no surprise that he’s added several precious items to his collection, including Kit’s Shockwave Launcher. The new weapon is powerful as it shoots Shockwave Grenades with a fire rate of 0.75.

While the explanation is short and simple, it might also be confusing, especially to new players. The depths of Thorne’s properties refers to one of the three new named locations that were added with the new season: Sanguine Suites, Eclipsed Estate, and Relentless Retreat.
To obtain Kit’s Shockwave Launcher, you will have to go to one of the new locations. More specifically, the Mythic item is located in a special vault, which was shown in the Season 4 trailer. The vault is located on the map, so head over there.
Once you’re close to the vault, you will have to eliminate a boss, who will drop a Vault Keycard. Pick up the card and open the vault. However, you need to be careful as vaults are protected by cameras and turrets. You can use new in-game items, like the Scoped Burst SMG, Twin Mag Assault Rifle, or Rocket Ram, to destroy them and proceed to the vault.
When you get inside, you will see three Mythic items, but you can only pick one.
These items are randomized, so if you want Kit’s Shockwave Launcher, make sure to select it. If it doesn’t spawn in that vault, try another one. Here is a full list of all the other Mythic items that can spawn in the vault:

It’s also important to note that, once you steal the item, several guards will be alerted and will get to the vault. Due to this, you need to be on the move and be ready to defend yourself. Once you eliminate the guards, you can proceed to exit and use the Mythic item to get a victory. Make sure to have plenty of rockets to effectively use the new mobility item of Mythic rarity!
